DO I NEED A PASSPORT?

SHIPROCKED STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT ALL OF OUR GUESTS TRAVEL WITH A PASSPORT.

Having a valid passport will help to expedite your debarkation experience as delays may occur upon return to the United States for those without one. Additionally, this will enable guests to fly from the U.S. to meet their ship at a foreign port should they miss their scheduled port of embarkation and allow guests who must disembark the ship before their cruise ends due to an emergency to fly back to the U.S. without significant delays and complications.

However passports are not required. Guests are able to sail with an original or certified copy of their birth certificate and a valid government issued photo ID.

VERY IMPORTANT

ARE THERE DRINK PACKAGES AVAILABLE?

Although Carnival offers an alcohol drink package on its regular sailings, it is NOT available for purchase for our charter.

You will be able to purchase Carnival's Cheers Zero Proof non-alcoholic beverage package and Bottomless Bubbles water and soda package before the cruise and once on board.

CAN I BRING WATER, SODAS OR ALCOHOL ONTO THE SHIP?

Guests are prohibited from bringing water, sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages onboard that are packaged in glass or plastic bottles.

Bottled Water – Carnival Cruise Lines has reduced pricing for (purified) bottled water which will be conveniently delivered directly to your stateroom. Once onboard, the purchase is non-refundable; guests may take home any unopened bottles.

Sodas & Other Beverages - A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons only may be brought onboard on embarkation day and must be in the guest’s carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person.

Alcoholic Beverages - Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board with the following exception – At the beginning of the cruise during embarkation day only, guests (21 years of age and older) may bring one 750 ml bottle of sealed/unopened wine or champagne per person in their carry-on luggage. All liquor, beer, other forms of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages outside of this exception are strictly prohibited in both carry-on and checked luggage and such items will be confiscated and discarded.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Line-up Guarantee: All deposits and payments made prior to our initial artist lineup announcement are refundable (less a $100 per person administrative fee) for up to 14-days following the date of our initial artist lineup announcement.

ALL RESERVATIONS DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS MADE AFTER OUR INITIAL LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Due to the unique nature of our event, any and all cabin reservation cancellations, pre-party purchases, shore excursions, and taxes/fees/gratuities ($350/pp), are non-refundable. There are NO exceptions to our cancellation policy.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by using our Cancellation Request Form.

WILL THE ARTISTS BE ONBOARD THE ENTIRE CRUISE?

Our artists plan to join you for the full cruise. However, there may be some cases where a performer needs to depart early or join us during the cruise due to scheduling conflicts.

WHAT ARE THE RULES ON TRADING?

Trading personalized items with other guests is popular, but follows these rules:

  • Guests may trade (no cost) small quantities of personalized souvenirs (wristbands, guitar picks, etc).
  • Items must be personalized (name/city/group).
  • Items may NOT be sold.
  • Items may NOT promote 3rd party companies.
  • Items may NOT include official ShipRocked branding (Skully, official logos/typefaces).
  • Stickers and decals are STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

WHAT IF I’M PREGNANT, OR JUST HAD A BABY?

Pregnant women in their third trimester (24th week) of pregnancy or later by the date of departure are not eligible to cruise, and will be denied boarding by Carnival Cruise Lines.

Infants under six (6) months old by the date of departure are not eligible to cruise and will be denied boarding by Carnival Cruise Lines.

By booking the Cruise, you warrant that you are physically fit to travel. While at sea or in port, medical care may be limited.

WHAT IS THE BEDDING IN DOUBLE, TRIPLE, QUAD & QUINT CABINS?

Double cabins: Two lower twin beds that can convert to a king.

Triple cabins: Two lower twins (convert to king) with an upper pullman, sofa-bed, or trundle.

Quad cabins: Two lower twins (convert to king) with upper pullman(s), sofa-bed, or trundle.

Quint cabins: (6N Deluxe Ocean View only) Two lower twins (convert to king) with pullman(s), sleeper sofa, or trundle for 3-5th guests.

IS THIS AN ALL AGES CRUISE?

Yes. However, guests must be 21 years of age by departure to reserve a cabin. Guests under 21 MUST travel with a relative or guardian aged 25 or older.

Minors (18 and under) not traveling with a relative must provide a signed letter of consent from an absent parent/guardian authorizing travel and medical treatment.

Exceptions: Legally married couples under 21 and qualified Military Personnel (18-20) with proper documentation.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY FLIGHT ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE?

Airports

Miami International (MIA) - 7.8 miles
Fort Lauderdale International (FLL) - 26.1 miles

Arrival: Plan to arrive the day before departure. On the date of departure, schedule arrival by no later than 12:00pm-ET. All guests must be on the ship by 3:00pm-ET.

Departure: Schedule return flights for after 1:00pm-ET.

WILL I NEED TO TIP FOR ANYTHING DURING THE CRUISE?

Shipboard service charges ($16-$18 per person, per day depending on cabin type) are pre-paid and included in your total price. You will not see these on your onboard folio.

For beverage purchases and the Chef’s Table, an automatic 18% gratuity is added to the bill. Additional cash gratuities are at your discretion for exceptional service.

WHAT IF I AM TRAVELING ALONE?

Single Occupancy: Guests are responsible for the full double-occupancy rate, but receive a $200 discount off the second cruise fare and only pay one set of taxes/fees.

Cabinmate Matching: Our program allows solo guests to be matched with a roommate of the same gender/age group to share costs. You can also join our Facebook Group to find your own match.

DO I HAVE TO SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION OR BE TESTED?

Currently, vaccines, testing, and masking are not required to sail aboard ShipRocked.

CAN I CHANGE A NAME ON MY RESERVATION?

Only the "Lead Guest" may authorize changes. The Lead Guest cannot change their own name. All name changes must use our Name Change Form. Fees apply.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY FLIGHT ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE?

ShipRocked reservations specialists are unable to assist you with making your air travel, hotel, or ground transportation arrangements. However, we are pleased to provide these helpful tips to ensure your vacation goes as smoothly as possible.

Airports

The closest airports to accommodate your travel plans are:

  • Miami International (MIA) - 8 miles
  • Fort Lauderdale International (FLL) - 26 miles
  • Palm Beach International (PBI) - 70 miles

Before The Cruise

Guests should plan to arrive the day before the cruise departs to avoid any potential flight delays, lost baggage, or other problems that may occur. On the date of departure, we recommend that you schedule your flight arrival by no later than 1:00pm-ET.

Check-in for the cruise will begin around Noon, and all guests must be on the ship by no later than 3:30pm-ET, as we will set sail at 4:00pm-ET.

After The Cruise

When booking your return flight, we recommend scheduling your departure for after 1:00pm-ET

WHAT DOCUMENTS AND FORMS OF I.D. WILL I NEED TO BOARD THE SHIP?

Upon arrival at the Cruise Terminal at the pier, you will need to present your PRINTED boarding pass, along with your Passport, or original/certified copy of your birth certificate, and a government issued photo I.D., and any other relevant identification.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY BOARDING DOCUMENTS?

Similar to the airlines, Carnival Cruise Line uses an E-Documents system. A few weeks prior to the cruise, you will be emailed your unique Carnival Booking Number and will be directed to Carnival’s Online Check-In Page. Online Check-in is available anytime up to 24 hours before the date of departure.

Those not able to use Carnival’s Online Check-in before the cruise will still have the opportunity to check-in at the pier on the date of departure. However, all ShipRocked guests are strongly encouraged to check-in online and PRINT your boarding pass in advance to expedite the boarding process.

ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNTED DEALS FOR HOTELS?

ShipRocked does not hold any room blocks or discounted rates at area hotels.

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

Late January temperatures in Miami typically average between 65°F-75°F; the Caribbean can range anywhere between 75°F-90°F. Pack lightweight, “resort casual” clothing, swimsuits, and comfortable shoes. Note that T-shirts, shorts, and bare feet are not permitted in main dining rooms.

Pack warmer layers and rain gear for outdoor shows. Bring cameras, chargers, memory cards, ear plugs, and sun protection.

We STRONGLY recommend that you hand-carry all travel documents, medications, and jewelry in a carry-on bag. Do not put these in checked luggage as they could become lost or delayed.

WHAT SHOULD I NOT PACK?

Prohibited items include weapons, candles, irons, alcohol, or other dangerous goods. Carnival conducts security scanning; prohibited items will be removed and disposed of without compensation.

HOW DO I PAY FOR THINGS ON THE SHIP?

All shipboard expenses are charged to Carnival’s onboard credit program, Sail & Sign. Your Sail & Sign Card must be utilized for all transactions on board, as cash is not accepted.

You can establish payment with a credit card, travelers checks, or cash. If using cash, a $100 deposit is required. Carnival does not recommend using a debit card, as they may obtain a $100 pre-authorization hold.

* NOTE: All artist and event merchandise must be purchased using your personal credit card or cash. You will not be able to use your onboard spending account for these items.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE ON BOARD?

There is no specific dress code, but nudity is strictly prohibited. Pasties are not considered clothing. Shirts, bathing suit cover-ups, and footwear must be worn at all times in the Lido Marketplace. We request guests refrain from swimwear or flip-flops in the main dining rooms.

WHAT ARE THE DINING OPTIONS?

There are multiple complimentary dining options, including three-course meals in the main dining room, endless buffets, room service, and 24/7 pizza! We offer open-seating dining in the main restaurant. CLICK HERE to learn more.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO DRINK ALCOHOL ON THE CRUISE?

Alcoholic beverages will not be sold or served to anyone under the age of 21. We encourage responsible use of alcohol. Violation of the alcohol policy or Guest Conduct Policy may result in immediate disembarkation without refund.

CAN SPECIAL DIETS BE ACCOMMODATED?

If you have food allergies or require Kosher or gluten-free meals, please advise us at the time of booking. Kosher requests require 30-days notice. Guests may not bring food that requires ship preparation or cold storage.

IS THERE INTERNET / WIFI SERVICE ONBOARD?

Satellite Internet is available via the Internet Café or ship-wide Wi-Fi. Carnival offers three plans: Social, Value, and Premium. Plans can be pre-purchased at a discount online up to 24 hours before embarkation.

CAN I USE MY MOBILE PHONE ONBOARD?

Mobile Phones: You can use your own phone via the ship's roaming network, but international charges from your carrier will apply.

Ship To Shore: Dialing from your cabin is $1.99 per minute, billed to your Sail & Sign account.

WILL I NEED POWER CONVERTER OR POWER STRIP FOR IN MY CABIN?

The onboard current is 110 volts AC (US Power). Power strips and extension cords (without surge protectors) are allowed when used with caution. Personal grooming devices are also permitted.

CAN I SMOKE ON THE SHIP?

Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED IN CABINS OR ON BALCONIES. Violators will be assessed a $500 cleaning fee.

IS LAUNDRY SERVICE AVAILABLE?

Self-service launderettes are located on cabin decks ($3.25 per load). Valet laundry service is also available via your Cabin Steward. Click here for more info.

ARE THERE HAIRDRYERS AND IRONS PROVIDED IN THE CABIN?

A 1250-watt hair dryer is provided in all cabins. Irons and ironing boards are available in the self-service launderettes on cabin decks.

ARE THERE ANY BABYSITTING SERVICES OR CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS AVAILABLE ONBOARD?

Camp Ocean and Club 02 will not be available. However, the Circle C lounge will be open for kids aged 12+ with some programming available.

ARE THERE MEDICAL SERVICES ONBOARD?

The ship has a Medical Center for basic care. It is not equipped for specialized expertise. Guests assume all risks associated with travel where medical evacuation may be limited.

WILL THE ARTISTS BE ONBOARD THE ENTIRE CRUISE?

All artists plan to join for the full cruise, though scheduling conflicts may occasionally cause some to join late or depart early.

HOW MANY SHOWS WILL EACH BAND BE PLAYING?

Most artists are scheduled for two shows, while some special guests may only perform once.

WILL I GET TO SEE ALL OF THE SHOWS?

Guests will have the opportunity to see all artists at least once. Shows are general admission and take place on multiple stages; some venues have limited capacity.

WHERE CAN I SEE THE CONCERT SCHEDULE?

The complete schedule will be posted a few weeks prior to the cruise. Stay tuned!

WILL THERE BE EVENT & BAND MERCHANDISE FOR PURCHASE?

ShipRocked event and band merchandise will be available. Merchandise must be purchased using personal credit card or cash ONLY. You cannot use your onboard account.

WHAT IS THE PHOTO & VIDEO POLICY?

Personal photos with fixed-lens cameras are allowed, but no flash indoors. Detachable lens cameras, tablets, and recording devices are not permitted during shows. Drones are strictly prohibited. Please respect the artists' personal space.

HOW DO THE MEET & GREETS WORK?

There will be multiple photo-only meet and greets. ShipRocked photographers will take the photos, which will be posted online after the cruise. Lines form 30 minutes prior; no autographs allowed during these sessions.

Accessibility

ShipRocked and Carnival Cruise Lines are committed to providing a fun and memorable cruise experience to all our guests, including those with special accessibly needs. Carnival ships feature specially-designed staterooms for guests using wheelchairs, scooters, or those who have mobility or other limitations, as well as accessible elevators at each elevator bank, braille signage, accessible tables in dining areas, and accessible public restrooms throughout the ship. Additionally, accessible viewing areas will be available in the main show venues.

ARE THERE ACCESSIBLE AREAS DURING CONCERTS FOR GUESTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?

Yes. For shows on the Deck Stage, areas are located on Decks 11-12 near the Port side staircase. We will also have areas available in the Theater. Please be mindful that space is prioritized for those guests who are berthed in ADA accessible cabins and are not guaranteed.

IS THERE AN ADA LINE FOR ARTIST MEET & GREETS?

For the larger Dining Room Group M&G Sessions, there will be a line for ADA guests, which forms at the Deck 4 Photo Gallery, Starboard Side. Please be mindful that this line is prioritized for guests staying in ADA accessible cabins and are not guaranteed.

For individual meet and greets held in The Music Experience (Deck 5-AFT), there will not be a specific line for ADA guests.

DOES THE SHIP HAVE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR GUESTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS?

Carnival ships have specially-designed staterooms for guests using wheelchairs or those with mobility limitations. If an accessible stateroom is booked by a guest who does not need those features, they may be moved to accommodate a guest with a disability.

ARE PERSONAL MOBILITY DEVICES AVAILABLE FOR BOARDING AND ON THE SHIP?

The terminal has a limited supply of wheelchairs for boarding/debarkation only; they cannot be loaned for the duration of the cruise. Assistance is first-come, first-served.

WHAT ARE THE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR GUESTS WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING?

Carnival provides visual-tactile cabin alert systems (for door knocks, phone calls, alarms, or smoke detection) and TTY (teletypewriters) to communicate with Guest Services. For more details, click here.

ARE ACCOMMODATIONS AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS WHO ARE BLIND OR HAVE LOW VISION?

Braille signage is available for cabins and public rooms. Large print and audible formats of the daily newsletter are provided, along with large print menus. WHAT ACCOMMODATIONS ARE MADE AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES?

Children with disabilities are welcome in youth programs. Staff do not provide one-on-one attention or administer medication (except Epi-pens), but parents/guardians are welcome to participate with the child. WHAT IF I NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION AND CARE DURING THE CRUISE?

Medical facilities and staff are available 24/7 for basic care. Serious emergencies are referred to shoreside facilities. We strongly encourage guests to carry a copy of their medical records and prescriptions, as the ship cannot refill medications.

CAN SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS BE ACCOMMODATED ON BOARD?

Carnival can accommodate various needs: vegetarian, low-cholesterol, low-fat, gluten-free, and more. Please speak with the headwaiter in advance. Prepackaged kosher meals require two weeks' notice. Discuss food allergies with dining staff on the first evening; these requests are primarily accommodated in the main dining rooms.

ARE SERVICE DOGS PERMITTED ON BOARD?

Only working service dogs trained to meet disability-related needs are permitted. Pets, service dogs in training, and emotional support animals are not allowed. For more info, click here.
