We suggest you pack lightweight, “resort casual” clothing — a few swimsuits, flip-flops, sandals or deck shoes for around the pool area, sneakers, walking shoes or hiking boots for shore trips, etc. If you like to exercise or participate in sports, bring any fitness clothing and footwear you may need. According Carnival Cruise Lines’ policy, it conducts security scanning of all luggage and if prohibited items are found, they will be removed and disposed of and no compensation will be given.
Before you pack, please take the time to review Carnival's list of Prohibited Items.
We suggest that all luggage be unlocked before turning it over to the porters in order to avoid any inconvenience to you or delay in delivering the luggage to your cabin.

When you check-in online at Carnival.com before the cruise you will have the opportunity to establish your method of payment with a credit card (Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®, Diners Club®), travelers checks or cash. Carnival does not recommend the use of a debit card as payment for your onboard folio. However, if you choose to pay with a debit card, please be advised that Carnival obtains pre-authorization of $100 which some banks may hold for up to 30 days.
Once onboard, Carnival's Guest Services can provide you with a balance update at any time throughout the cruise. In addition, you can view your balance at a Sail & Sign Kiosk or on your cabin interactive television. On the final morning of the cruise, a statement detailing all purchases made with the Sail & Sign card will be delivered to your cabin.

Smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas around the ship. Please inquire as to where those areas are once on board. All other public areas throughout the vessel are smoke-free. SMOKING NOT ALLOWED IN CABINS OR ON BALCONIES. Any guests who smoke in their cabins or on their balconies will be assessed a $500 cleaning and refreshing fee per incident on their Sail & Sign account. Information on this policy and fee is included in CCL’s Ticket Contract, section 8. Guest agrees to strictly comply with Carnival’s non-smoking policy.
The ship has self-service launderettes located on the cabin decks. There are generally 2 or 3 coin operated washers and dryers, and 1 iron and ironing board in each launderette. The cost is $3.25 per washer load and $3.25 per dryer load. Vending machines dispense small boxes of detergent and water softener at $1.50 per box. Change can be obtained at the Guest Service Desk. Due to local environmental requirements, the washing machines in the guest launderette will be closed in port, per each port specific requirements; the dryers and irons will be available for guest use.
In addition to self-service launderettes, there is a valet laundry service on board and is handled through your Cabin Steward. A more detailed description (including costs) of this service can be found on Carnival’s website by clicking here.
A 1250-watt hair dryer is provided in all cabins and suites (either in the bathroom or on the desk/vanity). Personal grooming devices such as hair dryers and curling irons are allowed on board when used with proper caution. However, if such devices are determined to pose a hazard, they will be removed and returned the last day of the cruise prior to debark.
Carnival operated children’s programming and baby sitting services are not available during ShipRocked.
The ship has a well-equipped Medical Center, supervised by a doctor and medical personnel. Please note, however, that they are equipped to provide only basic medical care; Carnival cannot offer care for conditions requiring specialized expertise or equipment.
Per our Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge that all or part of the Cruise may be in areas where medical care and/or evacuation may not be available. You agree to indemnify and reimburse ShipRocked and Carnival in the event that either party, in its sole discretion, to advance to you the cost of emergency medical care, including medical evacuation and/or medical care provided ashore, as well as transportation and/or lodging in connection therewith. ShipRocked and Carnival shall have no responsibility to advance any such costs.
All of our artists plan to join you for the full cruise. However, there may be some cases where a performer needs to depart early or join us sometime during the cruise due to a scheduling conflict or other personal commitment.
Most of our artists are scheduled to perform two shows each during the cruise. However there may be some special guests who only perform once.
Guests will have the opportunity to see all of our artists perform at least once, and in many cases will be able to see artists perform twice. Similar to a festival, performances will take place on multiple stages throughout the ship at varying times, with some performances taking place in venues where capacity is limited. All shows are general admission.
Concerts will take place throughout the ship on multiple stages from the time you get on until you get off! We’ll post the complete jam-packed schedule a few weeks prior to the cruise… so stay tuned!
Guests are permitted to take personal photos using fixed-lens cameras everywhere onboard the cruise. However, please refrain from flash photography in all indoor concert venues. The use of detachable lens cameras (DSLR, other professional cameras, etc.), tablets (iPads, etc.), camera and video sticks, and any video or audio recording devices, will not be permitted during shows. Remote controlled photo/video drones are strictly prohibited.
We request all guests be respectful of our performers’ personal space and time between shows, and refrain from photo/autograph requests. They, like you, have been invited onboard to relax and enjoy themselves with their friends and family, during their vacation time on the cruise. We will have several photo meet and greets with the artists scheduled for the opportunity to have your photo taken with them. We, and they, appreciate your cooperation!
There will be multiple photo-only meet and greets scheduled throughout the cruise, with most of our performers participating. ShipRocked’s photographers will be taking all of the meet and greet photos for you, and the photos will be posted on our Facebook and Flickr pages following the cruise.
Lines for each meet and greet session will start to form 30-minutes prior to each session. Please note that due to the number of ShipRocked performers and guests, lines may need to be cut, subject to the limited time available. Additionally, meet and greet sessions may end early should there be no more guests in line.
Artists will not be able to sign autographs during the meet and greet sessions.

Yes. For shows on the Deck Stage, areas are located on Decks 11-12 near the Port side staircase. We will also have three areas in the Theater. See images below. Please be mindful that space is prioritized for those guests who are berthed in ADA accessible cabins and are not guaranteed.
For the larger Dining Room Group M&G Sessions, there will be a line for ADA guests, which forms at the Deck 4 Photo Gallery, Starboard Side (right). Please be mindful that this line is prioritized for guests staying in ADA accessible cabins and are not guaranteed.
For individual meet and greets held in The Music Experience (Deck 5-AFT), there will not be a specific line for ADA guests.
Carnival ships have specially-designed staterooms for guests using wheelchairs or those who have mobility limitations and could benefit from the features of an accessible stateroom. If an accessible stateroom is booked by a guest who does not need the accessibility features in the stateroom, they may at any time be moved to a non-accessible stateroom in order to accommodate a guest with a disability.
When you make your reservations, please be sure to discuss your needs with ASK4 Reservations at 888-402-ASK4 (2754), or email [email protected]. You may also visit Carnival’s website for complete ship Accessibility Information by clicking here, or calling their Guest Access team at 800-438-6744 ext.70025 or email [email protected].
The cruise terminal has a limited supply of wheelchairs used to transport guests onto and off the ship, so Carnival is unable to loan you their wheelchairs for the duration of the cruise. If you need wheelchair assistance for boarding the ship, please contact an ASK4 or Carnival representative once you arrive at the cruise terminal. Assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. For assistance with debarkation, instructions on where to meet can be found in the Fun Times on board newsletter distributed on the last evening of your cruise.
If you require the regular use of a wheelchair during the cruise, you will need to bring your own or rent one from a service provider. For your convenience, we have listed two wheelchair rental companies below:

Any issues that may arise regarding your rental, including refunds, must be handled directly with your chosen service provider.

Carnival makes available, to guests who require them, a visual-tactile, cabin alert system that notifies room occupants of a door knock, telephone call, alarm clock, or smoke-detection event. A TTY (teletypewriter) is also available to communicate with Guest Services, 24 hours a day.

Braille signage, indicating cabin numbers and public room names, is available on board Carnival ships. Large print format is available for dining room menus, and shore excursion information. The ship also provides an audible format of it’s “Carnival Fun Times” daily information newsletter. Additional requests for large print information or alternate formats may be made at the Guest Services desk, once on board.
Dining rooms menus can be provided in an electronic PDF file readable via screen reading software. Our dining team will also be happy to review the menu with you in detail. Specific computers in the internet café are equipped with screen reader software.
If you need general information about accessibility before you cruise, please call Carnival’s Guest Access team at 1-800-438-6744 ext. 70025 or email [email protected]. Carnival’s designated ADA Responsibility Officer is Vicky Rey, Vice President Guest Care and Port Services.
Children with disabilities are welcome in it’s youth programs. Youth program rules, including those related to hours, illness, the administration of medication, and unacceptable behavior while in the program, apply to all children. Children who are less than one year older than a given Carnival youth program age group may move down into the younger age group. Further exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Guests 18 years or older, with or without disabilities, are not allowed to participate at all in the program, as they are legally adults.
In order to participate in any Carnival youth program activities, the parent or guardian will need to complete a registration form. You will also be given a special-needs checklist, which will help the youth staff in determining how to best serve your child while participating in the activities.
Although Carnival does not provide one-on-one attention, the parent, guardian, or assigned care giver is welcome to stay and participate with the child during activity times, if necessary. A beeper or phone will be provided to the adult responsible for the child, if needed.
The youth staff may not administer any medication and/or needles (with the exception of epi-pens) to any child participating in the Carnival youth program. Additionally, no medications (with the exception of epi-pens), diabetic testing equipment, nebulizers, and inhalers are permitted in the facilities.
Should a child still be in diapers and is older/bigger than what the diaper changing table can accommodate, the adult responsible for the child will be called to assist. Youth staff cannot lift children with mobility limitations.
Supervised lunch with youth staff is scheduled for children ages 2-11 years old, during port days only. Supervised dinner with youth staff is scheduled nightly (except embarkation night) for children ages 2-11 years old. Since the youth staff is not able to provide one-on-one assistance, children will need to be able to feed themselves. In the event a child needs to be fed, the adult responsible for the child may remain with him/her during dinner, or dine with the child elsewhere and them bring them back to youth activities.
Special diets cannot be accommodated for meals served in Carnival youth programs. Kids’ menus are subject to change based on availability.
If you need general information about accessibility before you cruise, or have an ADA complaint, please call Carnival’s Guest Access team at 1-800-438-6744 ext.70025 or email [email protected]. Carnival’s designated ADA Responsibility Officer is Vicky Rey, Vice President Guest Care and Port Services.
In the event a guest requires medical attention while on board, Carnival ships have medical facilities and staff to assist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In case of a serious medical emergency, where more comprehensive facilities are required, guests are referred to shoreside medical facilities. The ship’s Medical Center cannot supply or refill prescriptions.
We strongly encourage guests to carry a copy of their medical records (e.g., a list of medical conditions, allergies, names, and medication dosages as well as the name and contact information of their physician).
For additional information regarding medical care on board, please click here.
Carnival can provide guests with meals suited to the following special dietary needs: vegetarian, low-cholesterol, low-fat, low-carbohydrates, low-sugar, and gluten free. Carnival chefs will make every effort to fulfill your requests, and will gladly prepare freshly-made options that meet your dietary needs. Once on board, we ask you speak with the headwaiter or dining room host in advance, so they can assist in planning your daily meals in the dining room. This will allow them the necessary time to prepare foods, as requested, in a timely manner.
Gluten-free pizza dough, pasta, bread for deli sandwiches, and hamburgers buns, as well as cake are available upon request. Plus, all frozen desserts and yogurt are gluten-free. All items are freshly prepared and may take a little longer than regular menu items. Gluten-free beer, Estrella Daura, is available for your enjoyment.
Carnival can also provide prepackaged kosher meals. If you’re requesting kosher meals, you must let us know two weeks advance of your cruise.
Guests who require a specific dining time can make arrangements once on board the ship. Guests will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis.
Food Allergies:
We ask that you please inform us of any food allergies and special preparation you may require to accommodate your allergy. Please discuss this with the dining staff on the first evening of your cruise. Although there are a number of options at the various restaurants on board, special dietary and food requests can be accommodated in the main dining rooms only.
Other Dietary Needs:
Although there are not specialized dietitians on board, Carnival can offer assistance with simple requests such as the method of preparation of menu items. Diet requirements need to be arranged with the head waiter on the first night of the cruise. If dining in the Lido Restaurant, the guest should discuss requirements with senior dining staff.
The only dogs Carnival permits aboard our ships are working service dogs, which are legally defined and individually trained to meet disability-related needs by performing tasks like guiding a blind person, alerting a deaf person, pulling wheelchairs, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, or performing other special tasks. Working service dogs are not pets.
Pets, or service dogs in training, are not allowed aboard. Emotional support dogs, which are not recognized by the Department of Justice, are also not permitted on Carnival ships.
